My Approach
Relational
I work from a relational lens, which means I'm interested in what happens between people, not just within them. I believe healing happens in connection, and that includes the relationship between us in therapy.
Collaborative
My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I'll ask questions that might be uncomfortable, but I'll also make space for whatever you're feeling. This is your process, and my job is to walk alongside you - not to tell you what to do, but to help you find clarity about what you truly need.
The cycle keeps repeating
One of you reaches out, the other pulls away. Or you both shut down. You've tried talking about it, but somehow end up in the same place frustrated, hurt, or just... exhausted.
If…
You're walking on eggshells
There are things you don't say anymore. Topics you avoid. You've learned what triggers a fight or that look of disappointment, so you stay quiet. But the distance keeps growing.
Something feels missing
You remember when things felt easier, when you felt seen. Now there's a gap you can't quite name. You wonder if it's always going to feel this hard, or if there's a way back to each other.

FAQ
-
Most clients find weekly sessions helpful, especially when starting therapy or working through active challenges. As things stabilize, we might move to biweekly sessions. We'll check in regularly about what feels right for you.
-
There's no set timeline. Some people find a few months helpful for navigating a specific challenge, while others work with me for a year or more. It depends on your goals, the complexity of what you're working through, and what feels right to you. We'll talk openly about progress along the way.

Sliding scale fees are available through Open Path Collective. Please mention this when you reach out, and we can discuss what's possible.

I'm an out-of-network provider, which means I don't bill insurance directly. However, many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits that can partially reimburse you for sessions. I can provide you with a detailed receipt (superbill) that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
I recommend calling your insurance company to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits, including your deductible and reimbursement rate for out-of-network therapists.

Both options are the same rate. Virtual sessions offer flexibility and convenience, while in-person sessions provide a dedicated space away from home. Many clients choose based on their schedule, comfort level, or what's happening in their lives at the time. You're welcome to switch between formats as needed.
